Di = Intraverted Decider = Ti/Fi = ExxP

OPS – Dave and Shan

A Di’s human need is significance. They have an interior dream world and the real world doesn’t match up. So Di’s get depressed (especially when younger). “I’m not good enough. I’m not living up to the outside world.” (Sep 18, 2019)

My Take

The Di has an internal picture of what they should be, but the reality of the world makes them realize that they don’t match up with that. Whereas a De has an external picture of what the world (or the tribe) expects them to be, and they worry that they don’t match up with other’s expectations. For the Di, the measuring rod of perfection is internal. For the De, the measuring rod of perfection is external.
